Do you send a lot of international texts, or make a ton of international
calls? Verizon has a new texting plan just for you. Big Red's World
Messaging Unlimited plan charges just $5 per month per line for
unlimited texts sent to most countries. When calling Canada or Mexico,
you are charged just 1 cent per minute. Calls to the Caribbean and
Central America are rung up at the price of 5 cents per minute.
Verizon is offering those who sign up for the the World Messaging Unlimited plan a $15 savings, by making the first three months free. Keep in mind that Verizon is characterizing this as a limited time offer, so don't start making a long 200 page list of pros and cons. If you make international texts and call often to Mexico, Canada, Central America and the Caribbean, this would seem like a no brainer.
